In August of 2015, a verbal altercation on a Detroit city bus escalated into a fatal stabbing that ended the life of 50-year-old Charla Williams. The incident, which was captured on a passenger's cellphone video, began as a dispute, reportedly over Williams' use of foul language near children. The argument intensified, and as Williams attempted to exit the bus with her walker at a stop near Rosa Parks and West Grand Boulevard, she reportedly bumped into 29-year-old Tiffanie Edwards.
