Damonta Cheeto Naeschonn Martin, a 17-year-old African American male from Akron, Ohio, tragically lost his life on July 9, 2018. He was found fatally shot near Catskill Drive and Dahlgren Drive in Akron on July 5, 2018. The incident occurred late at night, and Damonta was pronounced dead at the scene. The Akron Police Department has been investigating the case, but it remains unsolved to this day.
