On October 16, 2005, Justin Earl Holston, a 57-year-old resident of Akron, Ohio, was killed during an apparent burglary at his residence on South Hawkins Avenue. The incident took place around 2:00 AM when Justin, who was in the basement, heard noises coming from upstairs. As he went to investigate, he was shot by intruders with an assault rifle. The Akron Police Department responded to the incident, but to date, the case remains unsolved, with no identified suspects or major breakthroughs.
