On July 11, 2018, Darnez Canion, a 20-year-old male of Maple Heights, Ohio, tragically lost his life due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred near Milkovich Middle School, where a large fight broke out, escalating into a shootout. Darnez was found lying in the drive of the school with a gunshot wound, and despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at Bedford Medical Center.
