On November 1, 2021, 14-year-old Sha'Shawn Anderson was fatally shot in Maple Heights, Ohio. Sha'Shawn, a young African American boy, was found with a gunshot wound to his lower back near a Family Dollar store on Adams Street. He was quickly transported to MetroHealth Medical Center, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
