On the early morning of June 7, 2012, Larry Green, a 28-year-old Black male resident of Detroit, Michigan, became the victim of a homicide while parked on the city's east side. The incident occurred approximately at 1:00 a.m. as Green sat inside his vehicle, which was positioned across the street from the C-Note Lounge. The lounge was located on Van Dyke Avenue, situated between Seven Mile Road and East Nevada Street.
