Cody James Herring, a 20-year-old male of White ethnicity from Akron, Ohio, tragically passed away on October 21, 2018. He was fatally shot inside his vehicle near 751 Merton Avenue in Akron. The incident occurred at approximately 8:40 PM, and Cody was pronounced dead at the scene. The Akron Police Department has been investigating this case as an unsolved homicide.
