Keywontae Jaterrance Carter Smiley, a 22-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on December 24, 2018, in Fairfield Township, Hamilton, OH. Smiley was shot and killed shortly before 2 p.m. while sitting in a car with another person. The incident occurred in the 3400 block of Waterfowl Lane when a suspect approached the vehicle and attempted to rob them. The suspect brandished a firearm and fired several shots, striking Smiley.
