Mark Tyshawn-Dominique Hardy, a 27-year-old Black male from Columbus, OH, tragically lost his life on January 8, 2019. On that fateful evening, around 6:55 p.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the area of 1042 Lockbourne Road on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One of the victims, later identified as Hardy, was transported to Grant Medical Center with critical injuries but ultimately did not survive and was
pronounced deceased at 7:34 p.m.
The incident remains an unsolved homicide, and the Columbus Police Department, along with the Ohio Attorney General's Office, continues to investigate the case. Despite ongoing efforts, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The case is part of the Homicide Cold Case Unit Archive, and law enforcement agencies have repeatedly appealed to the public for any information that might help solve the case and bring justice to Hardy's family.
