On March 18, 1997, Kyle Schaulin, a 19-year-old Ohio State University student, was killed in a homicide incident at his residence on East 11th Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. Schaulin was shot inside his home by three males who entered the apartment around 11 a.m. that day.
