On January 28, 2019, Edward Alan Robinson II, a 39-year-old African American male from Cleveland, Ohio, was fatally shot during a carjacking incident outside a downtown Cleveland strip club. The assailants approached Robinson, demanded his vehicle, and, during the confrontation, shot him multiple times. Emergency services were called, but Robinson succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
