On April 17, 2019, 25-year-old Joceline Cordero was tragically shot and killed at her home in London, Ohio. The incident also claimed the life of her 40-year-old mother, Yaisa Cordero. The suspect, identified as 54-year-old James Evans Jr., was the ex-boyfriend of Yaisa Cordero. Evans was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly after the shooting.
