On October 22, 2019, Destiny Penny, a 26-year-old woman from Wellsville, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed inside her apartment. The incident occurred when an unknown assailant forcefully kicked in the front door of her apartment around 10:15 a.m. Destiny's four children were present in the apartment at the time, but fortunately, they were unharmed as they were upstairs with another adult.
