On November 4, 2019, Laneze Horton, a 22-year-old man from Cincinnati, OH, was shot and killed in the Avondale neighborhood. Horton was found in the 800 block of Hutchins Avenue around 9 p.m. and was later taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Cincinnati Police Department confirmed that Horton's death was a result of the shooting, but no suspects have been identified or arrests made in connection with the case.
