On June 2, 2020, Darrian Keneal Shamel, a 22-year-old man from Hamilton, Ohio, was fatally shot at his residence on Charlton Avenue. Shamel was found injured by police officers who responded to reports of a shooting around 12:15 a.m. He was transported to Fort Hamilton Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
