Death by Force

Corey De'Andrew Woods, a 30-year-old African American man from Cincinnati, OH, tragically lost his life on June 6, 2020. He was fatally shot during what police described as a rolling gun battle between two cars. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on Derrick Turnbow Avenue and John Street in the West End neighborhood. Corey was found shot dead inside his car, which had collided with a telephone pole and ended up in the construction site of the new FC Cincinnati stadium.
