Waki Malik Bryant, an 18-year-old Black male, died on June 16, 2020, following a shooting in Columbus, Ohio. At approximately 3:34 a.m., two unidentified individuals entered a residence at 815 S. 22nd Street and opened fire, striking Bryant and 26-year-old Edward Jamal Miller. Bryant was transported to Grant Medical Center but pronounced deceased shortly after arrival. Miller survived his injuries, though his condition was not fully disclosed.
