David A. Brown, a 26-year-old man from Akron, was arrested and charged with Robinson's murder.
Brown was already in jail on probation violation charges related to a 2019 drug possession conviction when he was charged with Robinson's death. He was initially charged with murder and felonious assault, but later pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter. Brown's sentencing was scheduled for December 15, 2022.
