Jahneil Douglas, a 22-year-old defensive lineman for the University of Toledo Rockets, tragically died on July 7, 2020, after being shot outside Gino's Pizza in Toledo, Ohio. Douglas, who was African American, was involved in a fight that erupted outside the restaurant late at night. He was transported to Toledo Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
