Bernasto Hardin, a 29-year-old male from Sandusky, Ohio, tragically lost his life on September 27, 2020, following a shooting incident. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the area of Hancock and Neil Streets. When police arrived at the scene, they found Hardin inside a vehicle that had been shot. He was immediately taken to the hospital and later airlifted to a hospital in Cleveland, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Three other individuals, Brittany Robinson , George Brown Jr.
, and Chanse Wibley , were also injured in the shooting but fortunately survived with non-life-threatening injuries. The police discovered shell casings of multiple calibers at the scene, but they have yet to determine a motive for the shooting.
In the aftermath of the incident, the Sandusky Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Maleek Aaron, who was identified as a suspect in the shooting. Aaron was considered armed and dangerous, and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation was called in to assist with the investigation.
