On November 9, 2020, Jerry Ward, a 32-year-old man from Cleveland, OH, was tragically shot and killed at his home on the 3500 block of West 50th Street. According to police reports, someone knocked on Ward's door late at night, shot him in the chest, and fled the scene in a car. Ward's 9-year-old son was present in the home during the incident but was unharmed.
