Lisa Mathes, a 53-year-old woman from Akron, Ohio, tragically passed away on December 4, 2020. She was involved in an incident that was later determined to be an apparent murder-suicide. Lisa Mathes was shot multiple times by her estranged husband, Kenneth Mathes, 49, during a domestic dispute. After shooting Lisa, Kenneth Mathes turned the gun on himself. Lisa was taken to Summa Akron City Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, while Kenneth Mathes was pronounced dead at the scene.
