On December 19, 2020, Yiarad Tesfai, a 26-year-old male of Ethiopian descent, was tragically shot and killed inside a home located at 2 Reeb Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred after an altercation with an unknown individual. Columbus Police Officers responded to a report of shots being fired at around 5:58 PM and found Tesfai suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:13 PM.
