Ava Williams, a 9-year-old girl from Columbus, OH, tragically lost her life on January 1, 2021. Ava and her 6-year-old sister, Alyse, were fatally shot by their father, Aaron Williams, in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. Aaron Williams, who had a history of domestic violence, shot his daughters before turning the gun on himself. The incident occurred at the family's apartment in Columbus, and both girls were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
