Dontreal Callhoun, a 19-year-old African American male from Columbus, OH, tragically lost his life on January 3, 2021. He was fatally shot in an alley behind Azelda Street while on the phone with his 9-year-old brother. Dontreal had been picked up by friends from his home just an hour before the incident. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and a scuffle before Dontreal called out for help. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
