The incident occurred around 1:02 AM when Columbus Police Officers responded to a report of two people being shot. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of E. Livingston Avenue and Courtright Road. Inside the vehicle was Abdoul Aziz Kane, who was suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:29 AM.
