Jason Jared Simpson, a 47-year-old man from Hamilton, Ohio, tragically died on May 20, 2021, from a gunshot wound. His death was ruled a homicide by the Butler County Coroner's Office. Simpson was found with two gunshot wounds in the 2100 block of Madison Avenue in Hamilton. He was transported to Kettering Health Hamilton Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Shortly after the shooting, Nicholas Lorenz, a 40-year-old man from Warvel Road, was arrested and charged with murder
