Joe Patterson, 34, was killed in his Hamilton, Ohio home on August 25, 2010. The incident occurred late in the evening when two suspects stormed Patterson’s townhouse at 3385 BentBranch Lane. Patterson was shot multiple times by a 9 mm handgun while his wife and three daughters were upstairs. The suspects, who were armed with both a handgun and a semiautomatic rifle, remain unidentified. They were described as two Black males, one shorter and slender, the other taller at about six feet and heavier. Both suspects were dressed in dark clothing during the attack.
Earlier that evening, Patterson had been seen at a Value Place extended stay hotel in Fairfield, Ohio. Police have reviewed security footage from the hotel, which showed another individual present who might hold crucial information regarding the case. Despite efforts by law enforcement, including the Fairfield Township Police Department, this case remains unsolved, and authorities continue to ask the public for any helpful information.
