On October 27, 2021, Mohamed Diakite, a 40-year-old male of African descent, was fatally shot in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. Cincinnati Police responded to a reported shooting on Hawaiian Terrace around 8 p.m. and found Diakite dead from a gunshot wound. The Homicide Unit launched an investigation into the incident.
