Jennifer Draper, a 40-year-old woman from Millfield, Ohio, tragically died on November 26, 2021. She was born on September 23, 1981, in Athens, Ohio, and was the daughter of Jerry Arthur Draper and Jeanette Ilene Carsey Draper. Jennifer was employed as a hairdresser and had recently worked at Valero on Columbus Road. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.
Jennifer is survived by her parents, two daughters, Hayleigh Draper and Charlie Weekley, a son, Waylon Weekley, and
two sisters, Jessica Tedrow and Jodi Draper. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family members.
The circumstances surrounding Jennifer's death were determined to be a murder-suicide. Jennifer was found shot and killed in her home on McDougal Road in Millfield. Her partner, Christopher Roach, aged 43, was also found deceased at the scene, having died by suicide. The Athens County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call with an open line from Jennifer's home early that morning, prompting deputies to investigate. Upon arrival, they discovered the couple's bodies and initiated an investigation. Autopsies were conducted, and the case remains under investigation.
