On January 27, 2022, Yazmink Speer, a 17-year-old girl from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost her life after being shot in the southeast side of the city. She was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was rushed to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries early the next morning.
