On March 1, 2022, 31-year-old Jori Brown, of McArthur, Ohio, was tragically found dead at a residence on Frazee Lane in McArthur. The Vinton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 hang-up call and discovered that Jori Brown and 29-year-old Lawrence McMichael had been shot. The investigation revealed that both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the incident, a multi-county search led to the apprehension of two suspects, August Christopher Schuetz and Shania Nicole J ...
