John Whittecar, a man from Port Clinton, Ohio, was found dead in a ditch on North Rymers Road on August 4, 2022. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office identified Whittecar as the deceased male, and an autopsy revealed that he died from a gunshot wound. The sheriff's office stated that foul play was suspected in his death, but they did not provide further details as the investigation was ongoing.
