On August 5, 2022, 22-year-old Daevon Higgs was found shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Ravine Park Village apartment complex in East Toledo, Ohio. He was transported to St. Vincent Medical Center but did not survive his injuries. The Lucas County Coroner's Office ruled his death a homicide due to multiple gunshot wounds.
