Death by Force

Devonte Johnson, a 16-year-old African American male from Cleveland, OH, tragically lost his life on August 17, 2022. He was fatally shot near Glenville High School in the 600 block of East 113th Street. The incident occurred just after 4 p.m., and despite efforts by police and EMS to save him, Devonte was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating his death as a homicide.
