Shamira Rhodes, a 30-year-old biracial woman from Columbus, OH, tragically lost her life on September 25, 2022. She was killed in a shooting at the Queen of Hearts Pub on East Livingston Avenue. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. during a gathering at the after-hours bar, which resulted in a fight and subsequent gunfire. Rhodes was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 17-year-old girl, Khaterra Griffin, was critically injured and later succumbed to her injuries after multiple surgeries.
