Britney Boateng, a 22-year-old Ghanaian-American woman and aspiring musician from Columbus, OH, tragically lost her life on November 18, 2022. She was fatally shot during an argument at a home in the 400 block of South Weyant Avenue around 1 a.m. Columbus police arrested 41-year-old Tyona Dodson in connection with the shooting. Dodson was charged with murder and is currently being held in the Franklin County Correction Center.
