On December 25, 1929, Carrie Lawson, a 12-year-old girl from Germanton, North Carolina, tragically lost her life in a horrific familicide. Carrie was one of the seven children of Charles Davis Lawson and his wife, Fannie Manring Lawson. The Lawson family was well-known in their community, and their sudden and brutal deaths shocked the entire nation.
