Christen Marie Naujoks, a 22-year-old female student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington , was tragically killed on June 4, 2004. She was shot multiple times by her ex-boyfriend, John Brian Peck, in front of her North Chase Apartments building. The autopsy revealed that Christen received between eight to twelve gunshot wounds, with the fatal bullet hitting the top of her head and traveling downward to her thigh. Another shot to her back could have also been fatal.
