Death by Force

Jeri Couch Langley, a 45-year-old woman from Smithfield, NC, tragically died on September 28, 2005. She was the office manager at Atlantic Steel Fabrication. The circumstances surrounding her death were initially unclear, but authorities later determined that she and Ronald Keith Barbour, 46, who was also from Smithfield and her boyfriend, died from gunshot wounds. Their bodies were discovered in the early morning hours of September 29, 2005, at Langley's residence on West Davis Street.
