Rafael Huezo Castillo, a 19-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically shot to death in his home in Hillsborough, North Carolina, on August 30, 2006. His death was part of a larger, disturbing incident involving his son, Alvaro Rafael Castillo. Alvaro, who was also 19 years old at the time, confessed to killing his father and subsequently opened fire at Orange High School, where he had been a student.
