Vicky Lynn Lowery, a 42-year-old woman from Nebo, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on January 18, 2008. Vicky, who was a native of McDowell County, had recently moved back to Nebo after living in Hendersonville for several years. She was well-loved by those who knew her and was the daughter of the late Barbara Jean Lowery and stepfather George Lowery.
