Rebecca Rose Buckner, a 25-year-old woman from Nebo, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on January 18, 2008. Rebecca, a native of McDowell County, was the daughter of Steve Buckner of Nebo, NC, and Becky Wright of East Point, GA. She was also survived by her stepmother, Lynn Buckner of Marion, and her grandparents, James and Rose Buckner of Hogansville, GA. Rebecca's untimely death left her family and community in mourning.
