Kandace Hernandez, a 20-year-old woman from Richlands, North Carolina, was tragically killed on July 20, 2011. The incident occurred at her home on Wilson Avenue, where she was fatally shot by her husband, Juan Carter Hernandez. The couple had been married for over three years, and the shooting happened following an argument over rent money and marijuana.
