Shatina Marie Watson, a 43-year-old African American woman from Richlands, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on June 2, 2022. Shatina was found with a gunshot wound at her home on Huffmantown Road, Richlands. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries. The Onslow County Sheriff's Office quickly identified her husband, Michael Cornelius Watson, as the primary suspect in her death.
