Lynn Tyjuan Clanton, a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2014, in Garysburg, North Carolina. Clanton, affectionately known as "Tweety," was found lying on his back in the street near Poplar Street and Turner's Store, off Highway 301. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation revealed that at least five shots were fired from a weapon of undisclosed caliber, and casings were collected at the scene.
