Travis Lee Bellamy Jr., a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 6, 2014, in Chadbourn, North Carolina. The incident occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. on a Chadbourn street, where Travis was shot at least twice. One of the bullets grazed his left thigh, while another struck him fatally in the head. The Columbus County Assistant Coroner, William Hannah, confirmed the details of the shooting.
