Jestine Clyburn, a 44-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on October 15, 2014, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jestine, affectionately known as "Weedy," was shot and killed during a domestic altercation at her home in the Hidden Valley neighborhood. The incident occurred on Echo Glen Road, where Jestine was fatally wounded by her longtime boyfriend, Paul Williams.
