Eva Haynie, a 51-year-old white female, was found dead on November 23, 2014, in Waynesville, North Carolina. The preliminary autopsy results indicated that her death was a result of a murder-suicide. Her husband, Richard Haynie, aged 54, shot Eva in the back of the head before turning the gun on himself and shooting himself in the mouth.
