Velma Elaine Sanders, a 68-year-old woman from Jacksonville, North Carolina, passed away on July 22, 2015, at her home. Her obituary notes that she was survived by her two sons, Brian K. Sanders and Jason S. Sanders, both of Jacksonville, as well as her daughter, Kimberly McAvoy, also of Jacksonville. Velma was also survived by her two sisters, Shelby Baker and Janet Capps, both of Jacksonville, and eight grandchildren.
